Description
The focus and work carried out by the Barramundi Discovery Centre - Gulf Barramundi Restocking Association is critical if we are to have 'Fish for a fishing Future'.
Whilst undertaking tours and having a well stocked and interesting souvenir/information centre - the farm breeds barramundi fingerlings through each wet season which are then released to restock Gulf waterways and rivers.
Discover the mysteries of the infamous barramundi and experience the thrill of feeding these giant fish - 'if you're game!'
Tours are held from Easter to end Sept - 5 days a week - Closed Sundays and Public Holidays
For a tour during the wet season please call as this is the busy time for the hatchery and we are closed for general visits.
